Are you interested in tai chi and want to learn more about its health benefits?
The Community Health Education Center (CHEC) and VCU HR Work/Life present "Tai Chi: Meditation in Motion" on Thursday, July 25 from noon to 1 p.m.
Jo Robins, Ph.D. from VCU School of Nursing will guide you through the practice and help you discover how tai chi can improve both your physical and mental health. Tai chiis suitable for all ages and fitness levels and may:
- lower blood pressure
- reduce stress
- build strength and balance
- slow the onset of dementia
- relieve pain
- and more
