Over 120 million Americans are living with diabetes or prediabetes and more youths are being diagnosed every day. Learn more about this disease with "Living with Diabetes" on Tuesday, March 19 from noon - 1 p.m. at the Community Health Education Center (CHEC). Presenters from the VCU School of Pharmacy will discuss:
- Defining Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes
- Risk Factors for Diabetes
- Prevention and Management of Diabetes
There will be free blood pressure screenings at the conclusion of the program.
