What do you do when you notice a mole on your patient’s forehead? Or red spots on the throat? Have you ever wondered if there are information resources accessible at the point-of-care to help you understand the symptoms you are seeing and refer your patient for appropriate and timely follow-up care?
VisualDx is a point-of-care visual diagnostic clinical decision support system including more than 25,000 dermatology, oral pathology, ophthalmology, public health, drug reaction, and other images detailing variation in age, stage, and skin type. The database contains information about endemic diseases and outbreaks by geographic location to inform health issues that arise from travel.
At the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to:
- Use VisualDx to generate differential diagnoses based on patient symptoms and demographic characteristics
- Obtain images of symptoms and diseases
- Access patient education materials about health conditions
Registration is required. After registering participants will receive the class URL via email 3 days before the webinar.
