What do you do when you hear the name of an unfamiliar health condition? Or observe an unusual combination of symptoms? Have you ever wondered if there are information resources accessible at the point-of-care to help you understand the symptoms you are seeing and refer your patient for appropriate and timely follow-up care?

UpToDate is a clinical tool specifically designed to answer the clinical questions that arise in daily practice quickly and easily so that it can be used right at the point of care for a broad range of medical conditions. Includes pharmaceutical information, patient handouts, and graphics.

At the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to:

  • Install UpToDate on your SmartPhone or tablet
  • Learn potential uses of UpToDate in clinical practice
  • Navigate the mobile version of UpToDate to find and organize information about health conditions

Registration is required. After registering participants will receive the class URL via email 3 days before the webinar.
