Rare Disease Month Speaker Series: Finding Patient/Consumer Genetic and Rare Disease Information Online
Finding reliable consumer-level information about genetic and rare disease information can be a daunting task. Patients with rare diseases desire to learn more about their conditions so they can make informed choices about their health.
Join the Health and Wellness Library via Zoom on Wednesday, February 18th at noon, where Dana Ladd, PhD., Health and Wellness Librarian, will talk about finding patient/consumer information about rare diseases and demo free and reliable websites you can use to find information about the diagnosis, treatments, support, caregiving, legal, and financial aspects of rare diseases.
This is a part of our continuing Rare Disease Month Speaker Series to learn more about how to navigate rare diseases. Check out our next program here.
This program is free and open to all. Registration is required. Registrants will receive a Zoom link to the program on the day of the event.
