In his book, When Breath Becomes Air, neurosurgeon Paul Kalanithi shares the transformational power of giving life as he comes to terms with his own mortality after a stage IV lung cancer diagnosis. Through his honest and philosophical writing, the doctor-turned-patient attempts to answer the question: what makes life worth living in the face of death? Join the Health and Wellness Library Thursday, July 27 at 1 p.m. for an in-person discussion on Kalanithi’s hopeful and informative memoir.

This program is free and open to all. Registration is required. Registrants will receive a reminder prior to the day of the event.
