Advance Your Research - (Nearly) Painless Literature Reviews
Event box
Conducting a literature review is a multi-faceted task, requiring you to learn a variety of new skills quickly, process large amounts of information, and present existing scholarship succinctly. From asking appropriate, well-scoped, answerable questions to techniques for reading and analyzing articles as you prepare to write, librarians will offer tools for managing the literature review process.
At the end of this session, learners will be able to:
-
Employ strategies to help you develop a “right-sized” researchable question that adds to the scholarly conversation
-
Efficiently read a research article and document key concepts and information you find from each article
-
Engage with tools that help you to organize the literature you found to prepare to write your paper
Presenter Information: Erica Brody, John Cyrus, and Nia Rodgers
