Join VCU Libraries on a 45-minute tour of the new library, focusing on many of the new Cabell Library spaces. With an added 93,000 square feet of new construction and 63,000 square feet of improvements to the existing library, Cabell Library now provides students with more space to study, collaborate, discover, create and conduct research. The library also houses a state-of-the-art media center and an event space that seats up to 300 people. VCU faculty and staff are welcome on these tours, as are members of the Greater Richmond community. At the end of each tour, library staff will be happy to answer questions.

Registration is required. Please contact Donna E. Coghill (decoghil@vcu.edu), Community Engagement Librarian, for special accommodations or with questions about these tours.

Students seeking a more in-depth look at services provided at VCU Libraries should attend a Cabell Library Tour during Welcome Week (http://go.vcu.edu/library-classes), or take a Self-Guided Tour (http://guides.library.vcu.edu/UNIV-self-tour).
